Inaba Denki Sangyo Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) shall comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and relevant laws and regulations, and handle personal information appropriately, as follows.

1. Purpose of use of personal information

The Company shall acquire and use personal information appropriately only to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use of each of the following items.

2. Use of personal information

The Company does not use personal information beyond the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use, except in cases based on laws and regulations.

3. Management of personal information

The Company shall take necessary and proper action in order to prevent unauthorized disclosure, or loss or damage of personal information, and to ensure safe management of personal information.

4. Provision of personal information to a third party

The Company does not provide personal information to a third party, except in cases that fall under any of the following.

  • [2] In a case based on laws and regulations
  • [3] In the case that it is necessary in order to protect the life, body, or property of an individual, and it is difficult to obtain the person’s consent.
  • [4] In the case that there is a special need in order to improve public health or promote healthy child development, and it is difficult to obtain the person’s consent.
  • [5] In the case that it is necessary to cooperate with a national government organization, local public body, or person entrusted thereby with performing the functions prescribed by laws and regulations, and obtaining the person’s consent is likely to interfere with the performance of those functions.
  • [6] In the case that the company entrusts handling of personal information to a third party to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use.

5. Disclosure, correction, suspension of use, etc., of personal information

When the Company receives a request from the person to disclose, correct, or suspend use of personal information, etc., the Company responds as soon as is reasonably possible upon proper completion of identity verification.

6. Revision of this policy

The Company continuously revises this policy according to revision status of the Act on Protection of Personal Information and relevant laws and regulations.

You have a right not to provide your personal information to INABA. However, you or the company where you work may have disadvantage against business progress, such as late delivery of the goods and useful information due to lack of communications.

8. What are your rights?

  • A) The right to access: You have the right to access your information. Please contact INABA, if you wish to access the personal information INABA holds about you.
  • B) The right to rectification: If the information INABA holds about you is inaccurate or not complete, you have the right to ask us to rectify it. If that data has been passed to a third party with your consent or for legal reasons, then INABA must also ask them to rectify the data. Please contact INABA, if you need us to rectify your information.
  • C) The right to restrict processing: You have the right to ask INABA to restrict how INABA process your data. This means INABA is permitted to store the data but not further process it. INABA keeps just enough data to make sure INABA respects your request in the future. Please contact INABA, if you want INABA to restrict processing of your data.
  • D) The right to data portability: INABA must allow you to obtain and reuse your personal data for your own purposes across services in a safe and secure way without this affecting the usability of your data. Please contact INABA, if you want information how to port your data elsewhere.
  • E) The right to object: You have the right to object to INABA processing your data even if it is based on INABA’s legitimate interests. Please contact INABA, if you wish to object.

  • G) The right to complain to a supervisory authority: You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority if you feel that INABA has not responded to your requests to solve a problem.
